OUR PURPOSE
Our church community responds to God’s call and the needs of our people in many ways. Currently, our call offers the following opportunities: 1) learning about the Bible; 2) engaging in our communities; 3) providing ministry among the hungry, homeless and poor; 4) counseling (spiritual, pastoral and peer); 5) providing Rites and Sacraments; 6) marrying same sex couples and other couples according to the laws of British Columbia and Canada; and 7) encouraging Christian education, spiritual growth and personal development.
OUR MISSION
We are a progressive Christian community. We welcome all people in God’s name. We have a special call to minister among Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Transgendered, and Queer peoples and their friends.
Our Sunday evening worship centers on proclaiming the Scriptures and celebrating Holy Communion in a service of music and prayer.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in God the Father and Mother, Almighty Creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Child, who was conceived of the Virgin Mary, suffered for us under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.
On the third day Christ rose again and ascended into heaven where Christ sits at the right hand of God and will come to judge the living and dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
